We are looking for a brilliant System Administrator to resolve, maintain and manage software/ network requests that meet the needs of our target audience.
Responsibilities
Install the operating system and manage security patches.
Set up accounts and workstations and laptops.
Management of physical and virtual firewalls, and network.
Verification and maintenance of business continuity plan. Manage and maintain the organization's IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses, ensuring proper tracking and lifecycle management.
Implement and oversee IT security measures, including conducting regular Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Testing (VAPT).
Develop, implement, and maintain Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and disaster recovery strategies for critical systems.
Monitor and ensure the high availability, performance, and security of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and endpoint devices.
Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits, addressing vulnerabilities promptly.
Stay updated on emerging security threats and implement preventive measures to safeguard company assets.
Maintain thorough documentation for IT systems, processes, security incidents, and business continuity procedures.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal policies related to IT and security.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT and security strategies with business objectives.
Requirements
B.E. B. Tech M.E. M. Tech candidates' entries in fields related to Computers or Information Technology are preferred.
4+ years of significant prior experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
Knowledge of Bash scripting and tools to maintain the network infrastructure
Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management.
Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
Knowledge about scripting(shell, python, perl, terraform ) is beneficial.
Basic knowledge of VPCs, Load Balancing.
Proficient command of English communication. Should be able to facilitate discussions with stakeholders.
Good to have
Familiarity with one or more programming languages.
Familiarity with version control systems.
Knowledge of optical fiber communication.
