Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled

System Administration Intern

to support our IT infrastructure and assist in maintaining secure, efficient, and reliable systems. The ideal candidate must have strong Linux knowledge, with preference given to those holding a Red Hat certification.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of Linux-based servers and systems. Monitor system performance, perform routine health checks, and troubleshoot issues under supervision. Support user account management, access control, and system security protocols. Help with software installations, updates, and patch management activities. Maintain system documentation, logs, and inventory records. Collaborate with senior system administrators to implement IT best practices and improvements.

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of Linux is mandatory.

Understanding of system administration concepts such as file systems, users & groups, networking basics, and permissions. Familiarity with command-line tools and basic shell scripting. Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn. Ability to follow instructions and work within a team.

Preferred Qualification:

RedHat Certified (RHCSA/RHCE) candidates are strongly preferred.
