JOB SUMMARY

If you are a System Admin looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in any of our Emerson facility locations in Mohali, Chandigarh, you will be responsible for creating a comprehensive architecture for software solutions and providing direction throughout the development process for the Configurator and Product Lifecycle Management service area.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Participate in the planning, definition, and high-level design of solutions and exploration of solution alternatives

Enable the Continuous Delivery Pipeline through appropriate design guidelines and investment advocacy

Actively participate in the Continuous Exploration process as part of the Continuous Delivery Pipeline, especially with enabler Epics

Communicate the architecture to the stakeholders and collaborate and coordinate with existing domain architects in the formalization and adoption of IT standards and procedures.

Work with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers to establish high-level solution intent, and the solution intent information models and documentation requirements

Define, explore, and support the implementation of enablers to evolve solution intent, working directly with Agile teams to implement them

Plan and develop the Architectural Runway in support of new business Features and Capabilities

Provide oversight and foster Built-In Quality and Team and Technical Agility

REQUIREMENT:

You are innovative and develop and implement systems architecture that will meet business needs

You build and integrate information systems to meet the company\'s needs.

You are technically creative and open-minded

You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

You assess the systems architecture currently in place and work with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it.

You continually research current and emerging technologies and propose changes where needed.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or related work experience required

3-4 years of experience related to IT or other information technology systems role

Demonstrated ability to communicate the complexities of technical programs

Technical training preferred.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Experience with PLM and Configurator solutions strong plus

Experience in the manufacturing industry

Azure Servers Knowledge on VM creation and administration.

Apps Expertise in Apps creation and administration.

Database - creation and administration of DB\'s.

Knowledge on Backup, restore and Disaster Recovery.

Knowledge on Kubernetes creation and administration.

Storage accounts

Resource group creation and permission management

Azure Security, advisor and policies.

Windows PowerShell scripting
