This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced IT support environment where you will be the first point of contact for technical issues and system administration needs. As a System Admin (FUSE), you will assist employees and business partners with desktop, application, and network support while ensuring smooth onboarding and access management. You will balance multiple priorities, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to process improvements, playing a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency and delivering excellent support experiences. This position combines hands-on technical work with cross-functional collaboration in a remote-first and hybrid work culture.
Accountabilities
As a System Admin (FUSE) - Helpdesk, you will:

  • Provide first- and second-tier troubleshooting for desktop, application, and network issues.
  • Assist with onboarding new hires, including account setup, login credentials, and access privileges.
  • Manage incident and request tickets from initiation to resolution, escalating when necessary.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues.
  • Monitor call and email queues, respond to inquiries, and ensure timely communication with stakeholders.
  • Document processes and develop procedures for varying levels of support.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex incidents and requests.
  • Participate in scheduling, on-call rotations, and ad-hoc projects to meet business needs.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer support or helpdesk environment.
  • Associate's degree in a related technical field or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience supporting web-based applications across multiple browsers.
  • Familiarity with password management systems and ticketing platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and a drive to learn continuously.
  • Reporting and database experience is a plus.
