What You Can Make Happen

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Synthetic Journey Monitoring Developer to design and implement automated monitoring workflows for mobile Apps in our Observability Platform. This role requires a strong understanding of mobile app development principles, test automation frameworks (particularly Appium), and programming in Node.js. The ideal candidate will work closely with Product and Customer Success teams to simulate real-user journeys to observe and measure continuous application availability and performance.

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop synthetic monitoring modules to simulate end-user workflows in iOS and Android mobile apps. Implement test automation using Appium with Node.js. Create modular, scalable, and maintainable scripts for proactive monitoring. Integrate monitoring modules with VuNet's observability platform Collaborate with Customer Success teams to understand app flows and edge cases. Debug and resolve issues in synthetic checks across multiple environments. Participate in code reviews and follow best practices in test automation and monitoring.

Skills & Experience

========================

Proficiency in Node.js for scripting and automation. Hands-on experience with Appium for mobile test automation. Understanding of mobile app development concepts (iOS and Android). Experience working with mobile emulators/simulators and real devices. Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON. Experience with Git and CI/CD tools. Understanding of synthetic monitoring and its role in SRE/DevOps practices. Good problem-solving and debugging skills. Strong communication and documentation abilities

Education:

Bachelor of Design (B. Des.), or Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or B. Tech Information Technology or any related field
