Job Summary:



The Swimming Pool Incharge is responsible for the overall management, cleanliness, safety, and operation of the swimming pool facility. This includes supervising lifeguards and pool attendants, maintaining water quality, ensuring member safety, and coordinating pool maintenance and activities.

Key Responsibilities:1. Pool Operations & Maintenance



Ensure the pool is clean, hygienic, and maintained as per health and safety standards. Monitor and maintain water quality -- pH, chlorine, and temperature levels daily. Coordinate with maintenance staff for filtration plant operation, backwashing, and chemical dosing. Ensure pool deck, changing rooms, showers, and surrounding areas are clean and well maintained.

2. Safety & Compliance



Ensure lifeguards are on duty and alert during pool operational hours. Enforce pool safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents. Conduct periodic safety drills and ensure first aid kits and life-saving equipment are functional. Maintain records of water test results, safety inspections, and incident reports.

3. Supervision & Administration



Supervise lifeguards, cleaners, and other pool support staff. Prepare duty rosters and manage staff attendance and discipline. Maintain logbooks for pool operations, maintenance, and visitor usage. Report equipment breakdowns and maintenance requirements promptly.

4. Member / Guest Service



Ensure courteous interaction with members and guests. Handle pool-related complaints or suggestions professionally. Organize swimming coaching sessions, pool events, or competitions when required.

5. Coordination



Liaise with the maintenance and housekeeping departments for repair or cleaning schedules. Work with the administrative team for staff training, uniforms, and safety compliance.

Qualifications & Experience:



Diploma / Certification in Pool Operations, Lifeguard Training, or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of experience in pool management or supervision. Knowledge of pool filtration systems, chemical handling, and water treatment. Basic First Aid and Life Saving Certification preferred.

Skills & Competencies:



Strong leadership and supervision skills. Good communication and interpersonal abilities. Attention to safety, hygiene, and detail. Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently.

Working Conditions:



Willing to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as per operational requirements. Physically fit and able to work in outdoor / humid conditions.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
