Strong swimming skills in all basic strokes
Prior experience teaching swimming to children (preferred or required)
Experience working in a school or youth environment is an advantage
Medical fitness certificate
Background check / police verification
Knowledge of school safety policies and child protection guidelines
Ability to teach
different age groups and skill levels
Classroom management and communication skills
Ability to assess swimming ability and track progress
Awareness of
pool safety rules and emergency procedures
