Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced

Halwai

(Sweet and Snack Maker) who can independently prepare traditional Indian sweets and snacks, including

Rasgulla, Laddu, Samosa, and a variety of Namkeen

. The ideal candidate should maintain hygiene standards, ensure taste consistency, and be efficient in bulk production for events and regular sales.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare traditional Indian sweets like

Rasgulla, Gulab Jamun, Besan Laddu, Boondi Laddu

, etc. Prepare snacks such as

Samosa, Kachori, Mathri

, and other

Namkeen

items. Follow proper cooking techniques and traditional recipes to maintain authentic taste. Measure and mix ingredients accurately. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area. Manage inventory of raw materials like maida, ghee, khoya, sugar, spices, etc. Ensure timely production and delivery of items for retail or catering orders. Maintain consistency in taste, appearance, and quality.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Halwai or traditional Indian sweet/snack maker. Ability to make a wide variety of sweets and snacks from scratch. Knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards. Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively. Team player with a positive attitude.
? Preferred Skills:

Expertise in

boiling and kneading techniques

for Rasgulla and Gulab Jamun. Knowledge of

deep-frying, stuffing, and folding

methods for samosas. Experience in

preparing crispy namkeen

like sev, mixture, and shakarpara. Ability to

scale recipes

for bulk preparation without compromising on taste.

Pay: ?11,618.86 - ?16,000.00 per month
