Responsibilities
Supervise daily production of sweets and savory (karam) items
Ensure standard recipes, portion control, and taste consistency
Monitor and enforce hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety practices
Conduct quality checks for taste, freshness, texture, and appearance
Manage and guide sweet makers, karam makers, and kitchen staff
Train staff on SOPs, hygiene, and safe food handling
Control raw material usage and reduce wastage
Maintain daily production and quality records
Ensure compliance with FSSAI and food safety regulations
Coordinate with management for production planning and improvements
Requirements
Proven experience in sweet & savory (karam) manufacturing
Strong knowledge of traditional Indian sweets and snacks
Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
Ability to supervise and manage a production team
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Basic record-keeping and reporting skills
Preferred Qualifications
2-5 years of experience in a sweet shop, bakery, or food manufacturing unit
Experience as a Production Supervisor, Sweet Master, or Manufacturing In-Charge
