About the Role:
A
Swasthya Sahayak/ Shiksha Mitra
plays a vital role in connecting people from the community to the healthcare system.
You'll act as a friendly guide and support for those who need help navigating hospitals, understanding treatment options, or participating in health check-ups and awareness activities.
By working closely with doctors, nurses, medical students, and local residents, you'll help create a healthier and more informed community.
Your Responsibilities:
Build Relationships:
Be a bridge between community members and hospital staff, helping both sides communicate clearly and respectfully.
Health Surveys & Check-Ups:
Conduct regular health surveys, keep accurate records, and help organize routine check-ups.
Community Mobilization:
Identify those in need of care and guide them to the right services. Encourage participation in health programs and awareness campaigns.
Support Health Camps:
Help organize and run health camps with medical students--managing logistics, guiding attendees, and supporting follow-up care.
Patient Support:
Assist in scheduling appointments, diagnostic tests, and follow-ups, making sure patients feel supported every step of the way.
What We're Looking For:
Minimum graduation
with any stream, Medical stream/work is a plus.
Friendly and empathetic nature with good communication skills in the local language.
Basic
knowledge of healthcare systems
(training will be provided) from the institute side.
Organized, dependable, and passionate about helping others.
Able to work well with teams and maintain clear records.
