What are we looking for ?

The Vice President - Sourcing and Logistics will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of sourcing and logistics operations for scaling Mati operations. The role will involve development of the processes for Truck Logistics and sourcing operations to optimize cost, and just in time deliveries. The ideal candidate for this position will be a strong senior leader with high levels of integrity who can join the management ranks to lead the company from the front. The role will require personal leadership skills to manage a team. It will also require ability to manage vendor and customer relationships with a knack for deal making.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

1) Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

2) At least 5 years of experience in sourcing or logistics operations, with a proven track record of success.

3) Experience managing vendor and customer relationships and negotiating contracts and agreements.

4) Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

5) Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

6) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

What would be your key responsibilities ?

1) Develop and implement sourcing and logistics strategies that align with the company\'s overall goals and objectives.

2) Develop the process and setup for truck logistics for the company\'s sourcing and logistical operations.

3) Develop a monitoring system and oversight tool to ensure the tracking of the logistical operations is standardized.

4) Manage operations in India, ensuring compliance with local regulations and laws.

5) Develop and implement cost-saving measures to optimize sourcing and logistics operations and reduce expenses.

6) Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and laws, including customs and export/import regulations.

7) Analyze and monitor performance data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for change.

8) Collaborate with other departments, such as production and sales to ensure the timely availability of products and to meet the demand of customer orders.

9) Keep track of trends, technologies and regulations related to sourcing and logistics and recommend ways to improve the company\'s operations.

10) Develop measures to ensure the product delivery is of highest quality.

11) Create technological breakthroughs to make the process more efficient.

12) Manage and lead sourcing and logistics team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

13) Maintain high levels of integrity in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
