Responsible for segments of test planning, design and execution, meeting planned scope, schedule and maintaining the engagement and relationship with the client/ internal customers. Provides recommendations for issue resolution, system optimization and test efficiency.

What will your job look like?

Coordinate and perform test execution activities, including implementation of test automation procedures and scripts. Determine the proper prioritization of the testing activities and ensure integrative work and full coverage of test scenarios based on the test plan and observations from concurrent testing activities. Collect and analyze system behavioral results in order to provide recommendations for issue resolution as well as for system optimization. Define the execution test plan, scope and resources required and design test solutions to be implemented and executed in alignment with the planned scope customer needs/use. Responsible to maintain and enhance of the professional and business relationship with the customer and internal partners, as to act as a technical interface for team members and with other teams to resolve issues and communicate conclusions and recommendations. Be a mentor for new team members, leverage knowledge across test Implementations and projects, and defines the best use/ reuse of testing tools and best practices. Support and promote test efficiency and optimization initiatives. Ensure that product documentation, test ware and work products used in the activities are of the highest quality to ensure traceability, correctness and compliance to both internal standards and client needs.

The ideal person for our team will be experienced in customer deployments / projects and committed to delivering excellent work with excellent people. You will have:


Relevant Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent degree


Experience in API testing field for at least 10 years and above


Experience in understanding of telecommunications environments, within the Policy, Charging and Mediation domains, as is broader knowledge of the BSS/OSS environment


Proven track record that you are able to work independently & manage test effort in a project size consisting of 5-10 resources (not limited to QA resources)


Experience in leading / mentoring junior QA


Practical experience in the test definition and test execution of end-to-end solutions


Experience in supporting customer acceptance test or relevant experience


Experience in a variety of technologies and test tooling, automated build and test systems is also essential, as is an analytical approach to problem solving


Experience in providing RCA (Root Cause Analysis)


A proven track record of full project testing to customers (review & understand requirement, execute and document the test plan and test strategy for each of the test phases; able to analyze the test results and gather the required data for investigation)


Able to articulate a technical discussion with customer


Proven track record of excellent analytical, communication (both oral and written), and organizational skills and the ability to run multiple tasks at a given time


Content of industry experience and ability to clearly describe technical content


Previous experience using UNIX environment and test tools such as Selenium/Karate and JMeter


Previous experience in different test management systems (Testlink, ALM) & defect systems (Jira)


Experience working in an agile development environment and experience with Kanban/sprint


Any scripting experience (shell/perl/javascript) and knowledge of REST, XML, SOAP, Diameter, and other TCP/IP protocols is strongly desirable
