We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated

Test Automation Engineer

to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated testing solutions to ensure the quality and reliability of complex software systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in database technologies, backend development, geospatial data, big data processing, and UI development with mapping technologies

Responsibilities:

+ Design and implement automated test frameworks for SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (Cassandra)
+ Develop automated tests for backend systems using Python.
+ Create and maintain automated tests for geospatial data and map-based applications using MapBox and EGIS.
+ Implement automated testing solutions for big data processing and streaming using Kafka
+ Design and execute automated tests for containerized applications using Docker
Develop and maintain UI automation tests for map-based applications

Technical Skills:

+ Proficiency in Python for developing test scripts and automation frameworks.
+ Familiarity with Python libraries like pytest, unittest, or PyMS for testing microservices
+ Experience in UI automation testing for map-based applications or geospatial tools.
+ Ability to test RESTful APIs using tools like Postman or Python-based libraries
+ Familiarity with database testing for backend services, ensuring proper CRUD operations and data validations.
+ Understanding of microservices architecture, including service discovery, API testing, and error handling
+ Familiarity with Kubernetes.
+ Experience in unit testing components, end-to-end (E2E) testing, and integration testing for frontend applications
+ Experience in creating automated test suites for frontend workflows using modern frameworks like selenium.
+ Proven experience in designing and implementing robust automation frameworks from scratch for both backend and frontend systems
+ Ability to design comprehensive test strategies covering functional, integration, regression, and performance testingStrong debugging skills to identify issues in both backend microservices and frontend applications during automated tests
