Role Summary:




As an

Advisor - Commercial Sustainability

, you will actively engage in customer conversations to enable their sustainability ambitions through Maersk's decarbonization solutions. You will support the co-creation of value propositions, provide emissions insights, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver commercial sustainability wins. This role offers an opportunity to work directly with customers and contribute to our mission of driving sustainability in the logistic industry.

Key Responsibilities:



Customer Engagement & Solution Support



Participate in customer conversations to understand their sustainability goals and translate them into actionable opportunities. Present Maersk's sustainability offerings (e.g., ECO Delivery, Emissions Dashboard) to customers as part of solution discussions. Collaborate with Sales, Product to shape tailored decarbonization proposals. Support in organizing and contributing to sustainability-focused customer workshops and sessions.

Sustainability Solution Enablement



Assist in preparing sustainability materials, proposals, and business cases aligned with customer needs. Help customers evaluate options for emissions reduction, including biofuel adoption and modal shifts. Ensure accurate articulation of emission impacts and carbon savings associated with Maersk's solutions.

Emissions Data & Reporting



Work with internal teams to extract and interpret emissions data for assigned customers. Help deliver well-to-wheel emissions reports, aligned with ISO 14083 and GLEC Framework standards. Explain report content to customers and assist in identifying focus areas for reduction.

Cross-Functional Collaboration



Coordinate with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to align sustainability messaging and tools. Gather customer feedback and insights to inform the development of future solutions and enablement assets. Support the creation of case studies, success stories, and best practice sharing. Keep updated on Maersk's sustainability strategy, decarbonization roadmap, and product developments.

Qualifications & Competencies:



Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Business, Logistics, or related field. 2-4 years of experience in sustainability, customer-facing roles, or logistics. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage in customer discussions. Basic understanding of Scope 3 emissions, and sustainability frameworks. Curious, collaborative, and eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment. Exposure to decarbonization initiatives or sustainability reporting tools is a plus.
