:
We are looking for an experienced Surveyor to join our team in a steel plant environment. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in conducting land and site surveys within steel plants, as well as the ability to create and implement protocols for surveying processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. This role will contribute to the planning, design, and execution of various plant projects, including construction, maintenance, and upgrades.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct precise land surveys and provide data for construction and maintenance projects within the steel plant.
Prepare and review survey reports, drawings, maps, and layouts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design specifications.
Create and implement survey protocols and procedures, ensuring that all surveying work adheres to safety and regulatory standards.
Utilize advanced surveying equipment, such as total stations, GPS, and laser scanners, to obtain accurate measurements and data.
Support the planning and installation of steel plant infrastructure, machinery, and structural works.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to align survey data with project requirements and timelines.
Review and interpret engineering plans, drawings, and blueprints for accurate survey execution.
Ensure that all protocols related to equipment calibration, data collection, and reporting are followed meticulously.
Maintain and calibrate surveying tools and equipment, ensuring they meet industry standards for accuracy.
Prepare comprehensive documentation and reports of survey activities, measurements, and data for internal and external use.
Develop and maintain protocols for survey methods, safety practices, and reporting to ensure consistency and high-quality work.
Enforce adherence to safety standards in a high-risk environment, ensuring all team members comply with safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Surveyor in a steel plant, industrial, or construction environment.
Strong knowledge of surveying techniques, protocols, and equipment.
Experience in creating and implementing survey protocols and processes.
Proficient in CAD software and survey data processing tools.
Familiarity with regulatory standards and safety protocols within an industrial setting.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create clear and concise protocols and reports.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Degree or diploma in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Certification in surveying is an advantage.
Salary:
?35,000 to ?40,000 per month (based on experience and qualifications).
