Job Description
The Field Surveyor will be responsible for conducting site visits, collecting accurate field data, and preparing survey reports to support ongoing projects. This role involves working closely with the project and engineering teams to ensure measurements and documentation are precise and meet project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct field surveys and site inspections as per project requirements. Measure distances, angles, and elevations using surveying instruments such as GPS, total stations, and levels. Record survey results and maintain detailed field notes. Prepare sketches, maps, and reports based on survey data. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure survey data accuracy. Verify data accuracy and make necessary adjustments in consultation with supervisors. Ensure compliance with safety protocols while working on-site. Maintain and calibrate survey equipment regularly.
