Hiring for Surveyor (Mechanical) -- Bharuch
Position: Surveyor (Mechanical)
Work Location:
Bharuch - Site-based work at container depots, yards, and terminals as per assignment.
(May be required to attend nearby locations when required.)
About the Company:
We are an independent specialist firm offering professional surveillance, supervisory, and inspection services in the marine and container industry. The company is not engaged in trading, shipping, or transport activities, ensuring complete impartiality. Our expert team includes senior Master Mariners, engineers, and surveyors with decades of experience. With multiple licences (insurance survey, dry van/reefer container survey, tank container survey, and dangerous goods handling) and advanced inspection tools, we deliver accurate and prompt technical reports to our clients.
Qualification:

• B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME)
• Freshers may apply.
• Male candidates only (as per site requirements).

Residence Requirement:

• Candidates residing in Bharuch area, or nearby localities will be preferred.

Working Hours:

• 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Saturday (6 days a week)

Mandatory:

• Own two wheeler and valid driving licence.

Initial Induction & Training:

• One week's induction training at Mumbai Head Office.
• Company reimburses 3rd AC train fare / bus fare for travel related to training.
• Food allowance during training: Rs. 350 per day.

Allowances:

• Mobile allowance: Rs. 500 per month.
• Petrol / conveyance: Rs. 4 per km (residence to allocated depot and back).
• Outstation allowance (if deputed temporarily): As per company norms.

Salary Revision & Increment:

• Salary review after 6 months' probation period, based on performance.
• Annual increment applicable after 1 year of service.

Insurance:

• All employees are covered under the company's Workmen Compensation Insurance policy.

Leave Entitlement (Post 6 Months' Probation):

• Privilege Leave (PL): 20 days per annum
• Casual Leave (CL): 5 days per annum
• Sick Leave (SL): 5 days per annum

Job Responsibilities (Brief):

• Conduct mechanical surveys, inspections, and supervision at depots and container yards.
• Record daily findings, prepare technical reports, and communicate observations to office and depot staff.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures during site visits.
