Job Description

Key Responsibilities

:

Evaluate patients and diagnose various forms of cancer requiring surgical intervention. Plan and perform complex cancer surgeries (e.g., breast, colorectal, thoracic, GI, urologic, head and neck cancers). Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (medical oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, etc.) for integrated cancer care. Participate in tumor board discussions and contribute to treatment planning. Provide post-operative care, monitor patient recovery, and manage complications. Counsel patients and families regarding treatment options, risks, and prognosis. Maintain accurate medical records, surgical notes, and follow-up data. Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and surgical safety standards. Stay updated with latest research, innovations, and treatment protocols in oncology. Train junior doctors, residents, and surgical assistants as needed.

Certifications and Licenses

:

Valid medical registration (MCI/NMC or State Medical Council) Fellowship or additional training in Surgical Oncology (if applicable)
