Key Responsibilities

Operate

surface grinding and cylindrical grinding machines

as per work instructions Read and understand

engineering drawings, tolerances, and surface finish requirements

Perform

job setting, wheel selection, wheel dressing, and alignment

Measure components using

micrometer, vernier caliper, dial gauge, height gauge

, etc. Maintain required

accuracy, flatness, roundness, and surface finish

Carry out

minor machine adjustments and preventive maintenance

Follow

safety, 5S, and quality standards

on the shop floor Record production and inspection data as required Coordinate with quality and maintenance teams in case of issues
Machine & Tool Knowledge

Surface Grinder Cylindrical Grinder (OD / ID - if applicable) Grinding wheels, fixtures, magnetic chucks Measuring instruments
Skill & Competency Requirements

Good knowledge of

grinding operations and tolerances

Ability to achieve

micron-level accuracy

Basic understanding of

materials and heat-treated components

Awareness of

safety practices

related to grinding operations
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
