Oversee day-to-day operations of all hostels under the hospital.
Maintain accurate records of hostel occupancy, room allocation, and resident movements (check-in/check-out).
Ensure compliance with hostel rules, hospital policies, and safety guidelines.
Coordinate with HR for new resident allotments and exits.
2. Accommodation Management
Monitor room assignments, cleanliness, and availability.
Ensure timely maintenance of rooms, common areas, laundry areas, and utilities.
Conduct routine inspections to identify repairs, damages, or improvements needed.
3. Safety & Security
Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including fire safety and emergency procedures.
Coordinate with security teams to monitor hostel premises and resident safety.
Maintain a record of visitors and enforce visitor policies.
4. Hygiene & Housekeeping Coordination
Supervise housekeeping teams assigned to the hostels.
Ensure daily cleaning, proper waste disposal, and high hygiene standards.
Conduct regular hygiene audits.
5. Inventory & Supplies
Monitor stock of housekeeping items, bedding, cleaning materials, and other hostel essentials.
Raise purchase requests and maintain proper stock registers.
Ensure cost control while maintaining quality standards.
6. Resident Support & Issue Handling
Address resident complaints and resolve issues promptly.
Maintain a professional and supportive environment for all hostel residents.
Conduct orientation for new residents regarding rules & facilities.
7. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain updated registers for occupancy, maintenance, complaints, inventory, and safety.
Prepare weekly/monthly reports for management review.
Coordinate with engineering, housekeeping, HR, and support service teams for smooth operations.
Skills & Requirements:
Graduate or diploma in hospitality/support services (preferred).
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in hostel/guesthouse/staff accommodation management.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good coordination, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of housekeeping, maintenance, and basic safety procedures.
Ability to manage multiple hostels and handle operational challenges efficiently.
