Direct Responsibilities

  • Guide team in case of any issues.
  • Conduct regular meetings and help/assist team as and when required.
  • Should work as Subject Matter Expert for the applications under the scope.
  • Focus on reduction of manual work and focus on automation.
  • Provide proper communication to management, business users in case of any critical issues without any breach of SLA.
  • End user functional and technical support
  • Ensure applications remain stable, health checks are performed. Ensure there is no process or security breach of any kind.
  • Prepare and Present KPI\xe2\x80\x99s to Management/Stakeholders.
  • Analyze and fix issues raised by clients by initiating discussion with various stakeholders like Business Analyst, ADM team, Operations team.
  • Ensure correct and timely internal and external communication about the incidents/ service requests/ changes affecting the application landscape.
  • Propose improvements related to the support activity.
  • Ensure KEDB, KMDB, Runbook, BCP/DR and project specific documents are reviewed and updated.
  • Active participation in Change planning, Change control board, Steering Committee, Cross entity meetings and provide qualified inputs.
  • Contribute to incidents and change analysis and associated problem management
  • Contribute to the regular activity reporting and KPI preparation and calculation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement actions, especially the lessons learned.
  • Contribute to the acquisition of new skills & knowledge to upskill team.
Contributing responsibilities:
  • Understand and remain fully aware of the business processes automated on the production platform.
  • Should be able to manage and handle critical activities and enhance monitoring to reduce incidents.
  • Participate to Resiliency events (Disaster Recovery, Sustained Resiliency, etc.) to ensure Business Continuity objectives are met.
  • Maintains effective relationships with core and extended program team members, peers, senior stakeholders and business managers.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
  • Sound and practical knowledge of ITIL practices.
  • Basic knowledge of General IT infrastructure.
  • Particular knowledge and experience with Unix/Linux, Windows, Shell/Perl/Python scripting, SQL and PL/SQL languages is plus.
  • Working knowledge of scheduling tools like Autosys, Dollar U or Crontab.
  • Sound knowledge of ticketing tools like JIRA, Service-Now or BMC-Remedy.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools like Geneos/DynaTrace/Graphana is added advantage.
  • Familiarity with DevOps concepts & tools and Cloud technologies.
  • Fluency in verbal and written communication.
  • Measure and identify areas for improving Quality and overall Delivery
  • Good Team Player
