We are seeking a Support Engineer with strong analytical and debugging capabilities who can diagnose application issues at the query or code level. The candidate will play a key role in triaging incidents, understanding underlying problems, and coordinating with development teams for resolution.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, reproduce, and troubleshoot issues reported by clients or internal users.
  • Debug using SQL queries, logs, and monitoring dashboards to find the base/root cause.
  • Collaborate with L3/Development teams to fix complex issues and suggest preventive measures.
  • Prepare detailed RCA (Root Cause Analysis) reports for recurring incidents.
  • Participate in release validations, smoke testing, and deployment support.
  • Maintain system monitoring dashboards and respond to alerts proactively.
  • Document known issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of experience in L2 Application Support or Production Support.
  • Excellent debugging and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Proficient in SQL (queries, joins, indexing concepts).
  • Good understanding of Java-based applications (ability to trace stack traces/logs).
  • Experience working on Linux/Unix systems.
  • Hands-on with monitoring/log analysis tools
  • Understanding of REST APIs and JSON data formats.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
Preferred / Nice to Have:
  • Experience in Spring Boot / Microservices-based systems.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments (AWS).
  • Exposure to production-grade application performance monitoring tools
