Support Engineer

to join our growing team.

As a Support Engineer at Savix IT Solutions, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our clients, ensuring the smooth operation of their IT and ELV systems. You will play a crucial role in troubleshooting issues, implementing solutions, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Provide remote and on-site technical support for a wide range of IT and ELV systems, including networking, structured cabling, CCTV, IP PBX, access control, PA systems, AV solutions, Wi-Fi, and firewall solutions. Install, configure, and maintain servers, desktops, and various software applications. Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently and effectively. Perform routine system checks, updates, and preventative maintenance. Document technical issues, solutions, and procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference. Collaborate with the project team to ensure seamless project delivery and post-implementation support. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and building long-term relationships. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, or a related field. Proven experience in IT support, network administration, or a similar role. Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN), structured cabling, and network devices. Hands-on experience with

CCTV surveillance systems, IP PBX, access control, and attendance systems

. Familiarity with

PA systems, AV solutions, Wi-Fi, and firewall configurations

. Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting

Windows and Linux-based servers and desktop operating systems

. Experience with various software installations and basic troubleshooting. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver's license may be required for on-site support.
