Serves as primary technical support for applications, such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Serves as expert on warehouse systems logic and functionality
Ensures system integrity, including setup and control processes
Supports troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of existing software applications
Interfaces with Operations staff to review issues or changes
Ensures issues are being addressed and resolved in a timely manner
Work with system providers or other departments to obtain costs for system enhancements
Identifies application improvement opportunities. Designs, develops, tests, and implements changes or fixes for improving service levels, reducing costs, and providing operational enhancements
Conducts feasibility analyses on application solutions, processes, and equipment
Monitors system performance. Performs maintenance and backups as needed, where applicable Manages action items between Crane and systems vendors Participates in sales calls and future opportunities in the Contract Logistics pipeline Creates and maintains processes and procedures which are rolled out to local, regional, and global accounts as they relate to systems Creates and maintains application support documentation Continued learning of application capabilities, configurations, limitations, etc. Continued learning of industry trends, client requirements, other applications available to support operations, etc. Manages a team of resources in support of the Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or other applications, where applicable Other duties as assigned The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field required
Minimum 5 years related experience
Minimum 1 year industry experience preferred
