Job Description

Operational Excellence:
- Oversee and manage end-to-end Transportation(local, FTL and Long-haul) operations, including vendor transportation, distribution and timely deployment of vehicles at customers place as per agreement.
- Ensure timely and accurate placement of vehicles and own customer and vendor satisfaction
- Implement best practices to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational performance.
2. Vendor Management:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors, carriers, and suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts, monitor service levels, and address any issues to ensure a seamless supply chain.
. 3. Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize transport operations and achieve company goals.
- Collaborate with senior management to transport deployment strategies with overall business objectives.
4. Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of logistics professionals.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages continuous improvement and innovation.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
5. Customer Satisfaction:
- Collaborate with customer service teams to address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Implement customer-centric processes to enhance overall satisfaction.
8. Continuous Improvement:
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement process enhancements and operational efficiencies to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (7+ years) in Transportation supply and operations management in logistics or related fields. ( Local, FTL, Long-haul Transportation )
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of logistics processes, transportation regulations, and industry best practices.
- Proficient in using logistics and fleet management software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
