We help provide convenience and flexibility to corporates by aggregating speciality kitchens and provide a portfolio of categories ranging from food, healthy snacks, fresh fruit bowls, juices, milkshakes, sandwiches, desi south Indian snacks, confectioneries, savouries, salads and other snacks. Job location: Chennai Role description (Reporting to Sales Head)
- Northstar: New kitchen and product addition
- We are looking to hire a supply manager who has wide knowledge on food and snacks and help onboard kitchens to serve our corporate segment
- Explore unique products from various kitchens across the city and onboard the kitchens as partners
- Discuss commercials with the partner kitchens and arrive at desired product cost
- Increase presence of partner kitchens in various strategic locations in Chennai
- Work with operations team to understand product gaps and onboard kitchens accordingly
- Develop innovative ways to identify, connect & network with cloud kitchens and restaurants
- 3 - 5 years experience in supply / kitchen onboarding or procurement
- Passionate about food and snacks
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent negotiation and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge about various cuisines and preparation process is a plus
- Familiar with food costing is a plus
- Contacts in restaurants and cloud kitchens a plus
- Motivated to perform and have an exponential growth in the organization
- The job involves extensive traveling within Chennai, hence candidate should be comfortable
