About the role

  • Development of Sustainable Supply Chain strategy for clients including designing of assessment protocols, supply chain competence development, supply chain assessments and improvements.
  • Involvement in sustainability assignments across various supply chain & sectors like Oil and Gas, steel, aluminum, cement industry etc.
  • Carrying our independent assurance for supply chain Sustainability/ESG assessments based on various frameworks like ISO 26000, ISO 20400, GRI,BRSR etc.
  • Involvement in independent assessment/verification of client\xe2\x80\x99s sustainability indicators involving environment (Scope 1, 2 and Scope 3 emissions), social and governance indicators.
  • Involvement in Technical discussions with clients during proposal stage.
  • Involvement in materiality assessments, impact assessments, review of stakeholder engagements.
  • Support in developing assets for use in delivery (technical solutions, reports, templates etc.) to ensure a standardized service in a consistent manner.

About you

Education:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in engineering (Mech/Chem/Electrical) from a reputed college or university.
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Sustainability will be an added advantage.
  • Certifications in climate change, environment, and sustainability related areas from GRI, SASB, etc. will be an advantage.
Experience:
  • Total 6-7 years of experience with 3-4 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in core sustainability space (advisory or assurance).
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Needs to have a good understanding of ESG reporting frameworks, such as GRI, ISO 26000, ISO 20400 etc.
  • Needs to have relevant experience in ESG Assurance on various ESG disclosures in line with ISAE 3000 (revised) and / AA1000 assurance standards.
  • Should have good knowledge of existing and evolving supply chain ESG concepts and practices across sector/geographies.
  • Must have a deep understanding of supply chain ESG market in the region.
  • Good in leading the project deliveries - delivering on-time, on-budget and achieving high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Maintains flexibility in work hours and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willing to travel, as necessary.
  • Experience in supply chain ESG reporting, materiality assessment, Impact assessments, among others and understanding of Double materiality assessment, will be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem solving and data analysis skills, data interpretation and first principal problem-solving approach.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • PC skills to include Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to interact in a professional manner with customers.
  • Experience in management audits \xe2\x80\x93 Economic, Environment and Social Standards.
  • Consistently exhibits DNV values in all interactions with associates and customers.
  • Mobility to travel as necessary for the job.
