Job Requirements


Monitoring the delivery of finished goods and analyzing the root causes of late delivery. Supporting the implementation of activities for timely and cost-effective procurement and inventory control. Assisting with production planning, scheduling, and inventory control. Supporting the materials requirement plan, coordinating and expediting with the buyers till delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities


Run daily/weekly MRP and action exceptions (reschedule, expedite, cancel) to align supply with demand. Maintain accurate planning parameters (lead times, lot sizes, safety stock, min/max). Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure material availability. Create, release, and amend POs; track confirmations and delivery promises. Drive

pushouts/pull-ins

to optimize inventory, meet customer need dates, and reduce shortages. Monitor open PO backlog; reconcile discrepancies in quantity, price, and dates. Serve as point of contact for order delays, allocation issues, and supply constraints. Coordinate triage with Sales, CS, PM, Logistics, and Suppliers; communicate clear recovery plans and ETAs. Maintain escalation logs and perform root cause analysis with corrective actions. Own the customer order backlog--clean, prioritize, and ensure accurate promise dates. Execute rescheduling (ATP/CTP) and align production slots with customer priorities. Provide weekly backlog and risk reports (commits, aging, past dues, expedites). Partner with CS/Finance to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and billing hold resolution. Validate shipping/dispatch documents; support proof-of-delivery (POD) closure. Track shipped-not-billed and billed-not-shipped exceptions. Work closely with Sales/CS on customer commits, allocations, and delivery plans. Align with PM/Operations on build plans, capacity, and change control (ECOs). Participate in S&OE (Short-Interval Scheduling) and contribute inputs to S&OP. Maintain master data accuracy (items, BOMs, vendors) as relevant to planning/POs. Publish daily/weekly dashboards: MRP exceptions, PO status, push/pull actions, backlog health, OTIF.

Desired Candidate


Experience:

2-5 years in supply chain operations/planning or order management.

ERP Exposure:

Hands-on with SAP MRP/PO modules .

Tools:

Proficient in Excel (vlookups, pivots), SQL/Power BI is a plus.

Education:

Bachelor's in Supply Chain, Diploma, Engineering, Commerce, or related field. Strong understanding of MRP, PO lifecycle, lead times, and supply/demand balancing. Proven experience with

pushout/pull-in

strategies and backlog management. Excellent communication for stakeholder alignment (Sales, CS, PM, Suppliers). Analytical, organized, and comfortable with fast-paced escalation environments. Detail orientation with bias for action and ownership.
