Job Overview

TE Connectivity\'s Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

Roles And Resposibilities

The team will be responsible for supporting the Planners/Planning Team for Automotive in EMEA. In their daily job by overtaking mainly Technical & Reporting tasks to ensure an extraordinary customer experience towards stakeholders. This also includes managing planning workflows & deliver input for continuous improvements in the SC planning infrastructure.

  • Job specific SAP transactions
  • Purchase Requisitions processing
  • Exception Messages processing
  • Create delivery notes
  • Scheduling Agreement Creation
  • MRP Data Maintenance
  • Drive reports centrally from SAP, Intranet and share with affected Planner community
  • Execute ad-hoc request based on planner input
  • MM Planning parameter setup execution
  • Late and un-confirmed PO handling
  • Check MR blocks and other blocks on Sales order.
  • Controlling of discrepancy during EDI transmission from vendor to TESOG (ZMI3, ZFOR, etc.)
  • Responsibility of high quality & on time delivery.
  • Ensuring a strict adherence of Standard Work Instructions
  • Ensuring a constant usage of Leader Standard Work
  • Ensuring to participate in trainings and team events.
  • Pro-active in identifying Process Improvement and implementing the same
Competencies And Experience Required/Desired
  • Technical capabilities: Expert functional/domain knowledge
  • Basic to advance Excel skills
  • Knowledges in SAP, MS Office, Access, SharePoint, Project Management Tools
  • Analytical Skills to assess situations rationally, and solve problems
  • Very good written & verbal English language skills
  • Very high customer and service orientation required
  • Performance oriented and focused towards Quality.
