What would you do?

The Order Management Specialist is responsible for accurately processing and managing customer orders within the enterprise system. This role ensures timely and efficient handling of order entry, inventory checks, pricing adjustments, and documentation, while maintaining compliance with company policies and customer requirements. Assess, design, build and Implement best practices on process, organization, and technology for Order Management from Order Creation to Order Fulfillment, financial settlement including order prioritization, purchase order receipt, invoice matching, inventory availability and promise, accuracy and fulfillment, provisioning of services and activation of billing. Includes Distributed Order Management for both on-line and physical network management.

Roles and Responsibilities:

oOrder Entry & Processing o Enter and manage customer orders using system order guides. o Add or remove items from orders and order guides. o Modify item quantities and handle multiple changes with system timing considerations. o Delete orders when necessary and recall order guides after closing. Pricing & Conditions o Apply order-level conditions (e.g., shipping fees such as FedEx). o Enter item-specific conditions and manage sale price overrides with reason codes. o Adjust prices on filled orders as required. Inventory & Lookup o Check inventory during order entry. o Utilize item lookup and previous order lookup features. o Review last purchase orders for reference. Documentation o Understand and manage cut/pick/no-pick tickets, including timelines and email notifications. Required Skills & Qualifications: o Minimum Graduation (any) o Experience in food service distribution a plus. o Strong verbal and written communication skills. o Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under time constraints. o Proficiency with order entry systems and customer service platforms o Problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate data and resolve issues independently. o Attention to detail and accuracy in all forms of documentation and order processing. o Experience with logistics, routing, or distribution support or customer support systems is a plus.
