TCS Supply Chain Consulting Practice - Overview
TCS supply chain consulting group works with CXO executives and drive growth and transformation agenda and deliver end-to-end supply chain services. Supply chain consulting spans across varied industries and key functions like Planning, Logistics, Sourcing and Procurement, Analytics etc. It harnesses strategic and digital solutions consulting capabilities to accelerate client value realization through innovation across end-to-end supply chain ecosystem.
This group brings together the capabilities necessary to position competitive supply chain management services through a team of thought leaders, industry & domain experts, and business consultants who act as trusted transformation advisors for the customers.
Group is looking to hire talented supply chain professionals with strong supply chain business consulting background.

In this role, across various supply chain planning function candidate would have the opportunity to:
Conduct supply chain assessments across integrated business planning, demand planning, supply and response planning, supply chain collaboration, inventory optimization etc.
Define and identify value drivers to develop business cases
Evaluate best of breed supply chain solutions and make recommendations for successful implementation
Actively engage in presales activities and position various supply chain offerings
Work with Go-To Market and delivery teams to proactively mine/support the opportunities across strategic accounts
Crafting and presenting thought leadership and point of views in collaboration with larger TCS team to uniquely position supply chain planning expertise and offerings
Enable digital supply chain transformation leveraging next gen digital technologies (AI/ML, AR/VR, Robotics, IoT etc.)
Mentor supply chain associates to ensure their rapid and successful professional development
Key Responsibilities
Work with CXO level stakeholders and develop the large supply chain transformation programs
Effectively manage client relationship towards successful execution of supply chain programs
Design and develop consulting frameworks in collaboration with other TCS business units and practices for supply chain transformations
As an SME understand and develop business processes, identify challenges and aspirations, formalize business requirements, evaluate the digital solutions in order to mitigate the business gaps and align the requirements
Coordinate with client and TCS stakeholders and support executive level client steering committee meetings
Manage conflict among stake holders to successfully drive change management initiatives
Desired Skills -
Working experience in developing the future ready integrated supply chain planning roadmap
In-depth knowledge of key supply chain frameworks and processes across Sales & Operations Planning, Demand Planning, Supply & Response Planning, Inventory Planning etc.
Excellent customer facing capabilities, client relationships and an established track record for delivering consulting engagements
Experience in COTS products in supply chain planning technology space for e.g., BY,SAP, Oracle, o9 Solutions, Kinaxis, Anaplan etc. would be an added advantage
Lead solution definition by leveraging contextual knowledge and crafting a compelling value proposition for clients
Up to date on the latest developments and advancements in the supply chain planning space and create content on best practices, tools, templates, and collateral
Qualifications-
Candidates having prior experience in supply chain consulting or domain experience in supply chain planning would be preferred
Good understanding of end-to-end supply chain management processes and the disruptive impact of digital technology
Master's degree in management from premier institutes
