Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Manager in the Telecom sector will be responsible for end-to-end supply chain operations -- including procurement, vendor management, logistics, inventory planning, and materials management -- to ensure seamless project execution and network rollout. The role requires strong coordination with internal teams (engineering, project management, finance) and external vendors (OEMs, distributors, logistics partners) to optimize costs, timelines, and service quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with telecom project goals and business plans. Manage procurement of telecom equipment (e.g., towers, cables, antennas, routers, OFC, passive infra) and ensure timely delivery. Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers, OEMs, and subcontractors for quality, pricing, and delivery terms. Ensure material planning and inventory control to avoid shortages or overstocking. Oversee logistics and warehousing operations, ensuring efficient inbound and outbound material flow. Coordinate with project and network rollout teams for site-level material distribution and installation support. Implement and monitor vendor performance metrics (on-time delivery, quality compliance, cost efficiency). Ensure compliance with telecom regulatory standards, safety norms, and company policies. Maintain records, purchase orders, and inventory reports. Support cost optimization initiatives and process improvements within the supply chain. Collaborate with finance for budget tracking, invoice reconciliation, and vendor payments.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of telecom infrastructure components and network rollout process. Expertise in procurement, logistics, and vendor management. Proficiency in MS Excel. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple telecom projects simultaneously.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

B.Tech / B.E. in Telecom, Electronics, Electrical, or Supply Chain; MBA in Operations/Supply Chain preferred.

Experience:

5-10 years in Supply Chain or Procurement in the

Telecom industry

(Network Rollout, Tower Infra, Fiber, or OEM).

Preferred Experience Areas:

Infrastructure Rollout / Project Supply Chain. Vendor Management for Telecom OEMs Contract logistics and warehousing in telecom operations.
