Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations for electric vehicle production, from vendor sourcing to delivery, aiming to minimize lead times and support scalable manufacturing growth. Drive strategic initiatives for inventory optimization and risk management in the EV sector.
Key Responsibilities
-Develop and execute supply chain strategies for EV-specific materials, including battery cells, power electronics, and chassis components, ensuring 95%+ on-time delivery.
-Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and conduct audits to comply with Indian automotive standards (AIS-038, ISO 26262) and sustainability goals.
-Utilize ERP systems (e.g., SAP) for demand forecasting, MRP planning, and logistics coordination, collaborating with design and production teams on new EV model launches.
Qualifications and Experience
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering; MBA in Supply Chain preferred, with 4-10 years in automotive/EV SCM.
Proven track record in vendor development for EV components and handling 10cr+ annual procurement budgets.
Required Skills
Expertise in lean supply chain practices, APQP, PPAP, and tools like MS Excel for analytics and CATIA for component integration review.
Strong leadership for team management, problem-solving for disruptions, and knowledge of EV ecosystem challenges like raw material volatility.
