Job Description

• Responsible for New parts development at Supplier & release of schedules to all suppliers for New & Regular parts (local & Import) as per marketing plan- N + 5 months.
• New component Supplier Selection from the approved supplier, Vendor selection & creation process in Emerge for approval to release Purchase Orders.
• Responsible to estimate best costs of child parts procured from supplier for new offerings in terms of purchase components and related child parts if any tooling's & as per terms of PR receipt.
• Responsible to achieve and improve cost targets for purchase components for new & existing BOC along with Indirect parts schedule & procurement w.r.t. the requirement.
• Maintain BOC parts inventory as per Min. & Max. level defined as per norms in plant & at supplier end.
• Verification of Tools & Gauges at Supplier end, also Maintain records of the same.
• Monthly Supplier Performance Rating to all BOC suppliers.
• Following Purchase & SCM policy & Maintain documents in line with IATF/ Customer requirements.
