Role Summary

We are looking for a proactive

SCM Engineer

to support procurement, production planning, inventory control, and logistics operations. The role focuses on ensuring smooth material flow, cost optimization, and coordination across suppliers, production, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and manage material requirements as per production schedules Coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of raw materials, bought-out items, and components Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages and excess stock Prepare and track Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), and follow-ups Coordinate with production, quality, and stores teams for material availability Support vendor development, evaluation, and cost negotiation Track inbound and outbound logistics and ensure on-time deliveries Maintain accurate SCM records, MIS, and documentation Ensure compliance with quality, delivery, and cost targets

Required Skills & Qualifications

BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering Minimum

2 years of experience

in SCM / Purchase / Planning role Knowledge of manufacturing materials, BOM, and production processes Understanding of inventory management, logistics, and vendor coordination Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Tally / ERP) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication and coordination abilities

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
