Prepare and process all necessary export documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, and regulatory declarations.
Client coordination:
Liaise with clients to confirm sales orders and gather necessary information for shipments.
CHA and logistics coordination:
Work directly with Custom House Agents (CHAs) to arrange road transport, book shipping containers, and coordinate vessel schedules.
Internal coordination:
Collaborate with internal teams, such as the factory and operations team, to ensure on-time delivery and efficient workflow.
Record-keeping:
Maintain accurate and organized physical and digital records of all shipment-related documents and manage records on duty drawback and MEIS credits.
Compliance:
Ensure all exports comply with international trade regulations and customs requirements.
Communication:
Handle professional business correspondence, including drafting emails for international clients.
Reporting:
Prepare and submit reports on shipment status, pending issues, and payment collections.
Candidate Profile
Prior experience in
Export Documentation is compulsory / CHA
work background will be an added advantage.
Ability to draft email communication for US and European international clients.
Proficient in
MS Excel
.
Good time management and organization skills.
