Job Summary

The Supply Chain Management Executive is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring supply chain activities, including procurement, inventory control, logistics, and vendor management, to ensure smooth and cost-effective operations.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, storage, and distribution Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of materials Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimum stock availability Track purchase orders and follow up on deliveries Coordinate with production, stores, and logistics teams to meet operational requirements Evaluate supplier performance on quality, cost, and delivery timelines Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations Prepare and maintain supply chain reports, MIS, and documentation Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements Handle logistics arrangements and transportation coordination Support audits related to inventory and procurement

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field 2-5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics (industry-specific as applicable) Strong knowledge of inventory management and procurement processes Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/SAP systems Good negotiation and vendor management skills Strong communication and coordination abilities Analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

Experience in manufacturing or industrial supply chain Knowledge of import/export procedures (if applicable) Understanding of cost control and budgeting

Working Conditions

Office and plant coordination Occasional travel for vendor or Plant visits
