Supply Chain Associate

:

We are looking for a Data Wizard that loves to process and analyze large amounts of data; can analyze data sets and has good problem-solving abilities. The Supply chain associate will manage the entire process to collect, generate and deliver device data files for Itron's customer's back-office applications. Through this opportunity, you will play a critical role in supporting customer shipments as accurate data is a key deliverable for our hardware shipment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Device Data File Creation and Storage

• Receive / Extract as-built data from manufacturing databases
• Configure, Generate and Deliver data files using internal tools for back-office applications
• Load data into Itron's proprietary databases for customer use

Data Analysis / Problem Solving:

• Merge data sets from various sources and create analysis frameworks
• Interpret results and develop conclusions from analysis
• Clearly communicate findings and recommendations to key stakeholders; including actions to correct any data integrity gaps and recommendations on how to eliminate any potential escapes going forward.

Process Improvements:

• Work with customers / internal teams to define product data requirements for new products and solutions
• Identify, investigate, and propose tools/process improvements to enable accurate data file generation and on time delivery 100% of the time
• Work with cross functionally teams to learn different data models and ensure data files are generated accurately; propose changes to streamline data processing and improve end to end solutions

Required Skills:

• Advanced Excel skills; SQL Server / MySQL or another database skills a plus
• Knowledge of PHP, Python, Perl, HTML is a plus
• Strong communication skills - ability to work effectively with internal contacts, suppliers and customers to resolve data issues and process gaps
• Deep analytical skills, strong out-of-the-box thinking and a curious mind
• Demonstrate experience processing large amounts of data
• Experience designing and implementing system improvements to automate procedures
• Detail oriented; passionate about data accuracy
• Willingness to go the extra mile for the customer

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management or related field
