Purpose of Role:
?The Supply Account Manager will act as the key interface between the supply-chain/operations team and account stakeholders (internal and external partners).This person will manage supplier and logistics partner accounts, monitor performance, drive cost-efficiencies, and ensure service levels that align with our brand promise of timely delivery and product quality.
oAct as the accountable "owner" of supply-chain-partner accounts -- ensuring compliance with contract terms, cost targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
oTrack, analyse and report on key account metrics (e.g., fill-rate, defect rate, on-time dispatch/delivery, cost per shipment, inventory turnover).
oCollaborate cross-functionally with procurement, warehousing, fulfilment and sales/marketplace teams to ensure smooth flow of goods and information.
oIdentify improvement opportunities in the supply-partner network (optimise partner mix, renegotiate terms, drive process improvements, adopt automation/tech).
oDevelop and maintain escalation and risk-management protocols for supply accounts (e.g., supplier disruptions, logistics delays, product quality issues).
oSupport forecasting and inventory-planning teams with inputs from partner accounts (capacity constraints, lead-times, cost behaviour).
oPrepare and present account-performance reviews and business cases for optimising partner architecture.
oEnsure that partner operations are aligned with company QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) goals and brand standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
oBachelor's degree in Supply Chain / Logistics / Business / Engineering or related discipline. MBA preferred.
o5-8 years (or your target range) of experience in supplier/partner account management within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), e-commerce or D2C environment.
oStrong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and drive decisions.
oExcellent stakeholder management skills -- ability to work with internal teams and external vendors/partners, negotiate, influence and build long-term relationships.
oExperience with logistics/warehousing operations, inventory planning, partner contracts and performance management. oComfortable working in a dynamic, high-growth environment; ability to drive process improvements and operational excellence.
oProficiency in MS?Excel / Google Sheets; familiarity with ERP, TMS (Transportation Management System) or WMS (Warehouse Management System) is a plus.
oStrong communication skills, both written and verbal. oDetail-oriented, proactive, resilient and able to manage multiple concurrent accounts and priorities.
