Role Overview
As Suppliers Relations & Business Development Manager (Travel/Hospitality/Tourism), you will be responsible for building and managing a robust partner network - including transport companies, tour guides, and major tourist attractions (such as museums and palaces). You will negotiate and optimize contracts, and ensure smooth cooperation with our most strategic suppliers.
In addition to your own strategic work, you will lead a team (2-5 people) handling daily bookings, reservations, and partner communications. Your role will combine hands-on partnership development with process management and leadership, ensuring that Rosotravel maintains best-in-class supplier relationships and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1) Partnerships & Negotiations
Source, onboard, and develop key suppliers and partners (transport providers, tour guides, museums, attractions).
Lead negotiations and renegotiations on pricing, availability, and cooperation terms.
Establish long-term strategic partnerships with major cultural institutions.
2) Team Leadership & Process Oversight
Supervise and mentor 2-5 Partnership Coordinators responsible for day-to-day reservations and communications with partners.
Create and monitor workflows to ensure timely confirmations, accurate records, and smooth customer experiences.
Set performance goals and provide regular feedback to your team.
3) Strategy & Optimization
Oversee pricing strategy for Rosotravel's tour portfolio in line with market trends and profitability targets.
Analyze partner performance data and identify opportunities to improve margins and service quality.
Develop scalable processes for supplier management, ensuring efficiency as the company grows.
4) Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Product, Sales, and Operations teams to align supplier terms with customer demand.
Support crisis resolution (e.g. last-minute cancellations, overbookings) by coordinating with internal teams and partners.
Essential Skills & Experience
5+ years in building and managing a suppliers/partners network whose services/products were a core of the company's offer (preferred in Travel/Hospitality/Tourism).
Proven track record in negotiating and managing high-value contracts.
Experience in leading a team (2-5 people), including task delegation and performance management.
Advanced analytical and organizational skills (pricing, cost control, process optimization).
Strong business English (C1+).
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Tech-savvy, with very good knowledge of Google Workspace and CRM tools.
Requirements
Availability to work Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM CET/CEST, with flexibility during peak seasons.
Fast and stable internet connection, as well as reliable tools for remote work.
