Summary:
Ensure suppliers deliver quality parts, materials, and services.
Qualify suppliers according to company standards and may administer a Certified Supplier Program in receiving inspection.
Monitor parts from acquisition through the manufacturing cycle and communicate and resolve supplier-related problems.
Develop and prioritise an auditing schedule to ensure that designated suppliers are audited to ensure that good manufacturing practices and quality standards are met.
Evaluate suppliers' internal functions to assess their overall performance.
You will report to the Supplier Quality Manager and have a hybrid schedule working in Bengaluru.
Your Responsibilities:

• Achieve results, even under tough circumstances.

• Focus on main goals, even during setbacks and obstacles.
• Identify supplier-related risks. - Define process controls. - Participate in the Part Qualification Process. - Interpret and align with relevant regulations. - Use data to assess potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
• Build partnerships and work with others to meet shared goals. For example, finds many ways to contribute to the team; probes to draw out richer input from others; is a valued resource who goes out of the way to help others.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Contribute to engineering plans (drawings, etc.). - Collaborate with design and test teams for early risk mitigation. - SQA to plant representatives (ongoing support and advice to the plan). - SQA to NPI team (ongoing support for the project introductions).
• Conduct root cause analysis. - Lead issue to resolution cycles. - Define and monitor corrective and preventative action. - Support cost recovery coming from issues management/ correct actions (in partnership with Sourcing).

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical engineering or related field; Master's degree.
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering or a related role, focusing on Electronics and electrical commodities such as Integrated Circuits, PCBs, Cable Assemblies, transformers, Active and Passive components, Packaging.
• Experience working with SAP and ERP systems. Woking Experience in the Manufacturing Environment for a minimum of 5 years
• Strong understanding of quality management principles, tools, and methodologies (e.g., APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functional teams and with external suppliers.
• Green or Black Belt certified. Certification in Quality Management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer).
