What You'll Do
As a
Supplier Onboarding Intern
, you will work closely with our engineering and sourcing teams to identify, evaluate, and onboard manufacturers into our trusted supplier network. You will contribute directly to maintaining quality, reliability, and efficiency across global manufacturing partnerships.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Researching potential manufacturers that meet Trustbridge's quality and capability standards
Communicating with prospective suppliers via email and video calls
Conducting structured interviews to assess technical expertise, certifications, and quality systems
Reviewing supplier case studies, sample parts, and past projects for suitability
Maintaining detailed supplier profiles and documentation
Guiding approved suppliers through our onboarding workflow
Flagging risks or discrepancies in supplier claims
Collaborating with design and engineering teams to match suppliers with project requirements
Who You Are
Curious about manufacturing processes like CNC machining, molding, casting, 3D printing, or sheet metal fabrication
Familiar with design-for-manufacturing principles and production methods
Excellent communicator in English, both written and verbal
Analytical and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of judgment for quality and process risks
Comfortable working with structured workflows, checklists, and technical documentation
Engineering students or individuals with hands-on manufacturing experience are preferred
Equipped with a personal laptop and stable internet for remote work
