What You'll Do

As a Manufacturer Sourcing & Onboarding Intern, you'll support our engineering and sourcing teams by identifying, evaluating, and onboarding best-fit suppliers into our network. You'll play a key role in shaping the quality and reliability of our global manufacturing ecosystem.

Your responsibilities will include:

Researching manufacturing companies that meet our quality, process, and capability standards Contacting prospective manufacturers via email and video meetings Conducting structured interviews to assess communication, technical capabilities, certifications, and quality systems Reviewing supplier case studies, sample parts, and past projects for fit Maintaining detailed supplier profiles and documentation Guiding vetted manufacturers through our onboarding workflow Flagging risks or inconsistencies in supplier claims Collaborating with our product design and engineering teams to align suppliers with client project requirements

Who You Are

Experience with or exposure to manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC machining, molding, casting, 3DP, sheet metal) Familiar with design-for-manufacturing principles and production methods Strong verbal and written English skills for clear, professional communication Analytical and detail-oriented, with sound judgment on quality and process risk Comfortable using structured workflows, checklists, and technical documentation Engineering coursework or hands-on manufacturing experience preferred Have your own laptop and stable internet connection for remote work
