The Impact You'll Make




As our

Supplier Development Engineer (SDE)

, you'll play a key role in ensuring suppliers meet Danfoss quality standards and requirements by applying quality assurance processes, communication, and training across the FC division



Your impact? You'll drive supplier competency development, ensure proper execution of the Supplier Quality Manual and Danfoss global standards, and secure supplier readiness for new business or resourcing projects--resulting in improved process performance and product quality



You'll collaborate with site and supplier teams and take ownership of supplier PPAP processes, claim handling, root cause problem solving, and qualification of direct purchased parts, helping us move toward a more efficient and high-quality future.

What You'll Be Doing



Lead supplier claim handling, PPAP, and qualification processes to ensure compliance with Danfoss standards and timely issue resolution. Collaborate with suppliers, SQE, ASQE, and internal teams to drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement. Support supplier development through training, audits, and performance reviews to strengthen competencies and close process gaps. Ensure supplier quality and performance data is accurate and used to benchmark best practices. Oversee supplier readiness for new business and resourcing projects in alignment with Danfoss requirements. Utilize tools such as 8D, PMR, DFM, and Controlled Ship Levels to enhance supplier quality and operational efficiency. Continuously learn, apply, and train others on Danfoss standards, tools, and documentation to improve quality performance. Drive a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration across suppliers and internal stakeholders.

What We're Looking For



Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Production / Industrial or related field) with 6-10 years of experience in manufacturing or supplier quality. Proven technical background with strong understanding of quality systems, including IATF 16949 and ISO standards. Certified Lead Auditor and Six Sigma Green Belt with demonstrated expertise in auditing and continuous improvement. Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and manufacturing environments, ensuring collaboration and problem resolution. Strong communication skills in English for managing supplier interactions and global stakeholder engagement. Committed to safety and continuous improvement, driving quality excellence and process efficiency.
