Assesses the supplier quality and ensures that all the products are free from defects and are in compliance with manufacturing specifications and legal standards.

\xc2\xb7 Ensuring the quality of supplies by conducting tests and assessments on incoming supplies to identify any quality issues; Developing supplier inspection, testing, and evaluation mechanism.

\xc2\xb7 Generating reports on supplier quality, by monitoring their defect rates and areas that can lead to potential flaws; Guiding suppliers to reduce these defect rates.

\xc2\xb7 Researching the potential vendors, assessing their manufacturing environment, practices, and procedures; Conducting supplier quality control audits to ensure compliance with organizational and federal policies and standards.

\xc2\xb7 Supporting suppliers in improving their performance through process enhancements, implementing process controls, and developing quality assurance plans.

Basic Qualifications

\xc2\xb7 Typically requires an Engineering degree in Mechanical / Automobile / Production from a well reputed University/College

\xc2\xb7 5 - 10 years of relevant professional experience,

Top Candidates will also have

\xc2\xb7 He / She should be an effective communicator, in written and oral form, fluent in the English language, familiar with MS office, Presentation skill, good in tough/challenge situation management.

\xc2\xb7 Having very good communication and interpersonal skills, strong commercial negotiation capability and good business acumen

\xc2\xb7 Added advantage to have fair knowledge on hydraulics design/manufacturing & suppliers footprint.

\xc2\xb7 Rich knowledge of process tool, like APQP, PCN, PPAP, BIQ and CAV hands on experience and good RCCA and drive result capability

\xc2\xb7 6 Sigma or other lean tool knowledge, good project management skill
