Position Summary Huron has an immediate need for an individual to join our team with direct experience in supplier contract work, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment, with primary emphasis on drafting and negotiating contracts with suppliers and various other third parties. The position will report to the Senior Manager in India, with accountability as well to the Manager of Supplier Contracting in the US. This role will be a key part a dynamic Procure to Pay team. Candidate must have excellent communication and writing skills, effective negotiation experience, outstanding business and analytical judgment, and a strong sense of inclusion and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • Responsible for working requests through the entire supplier contracting cycle, from initial draft to finalization and signature, driving contract negotiations to timely and successful completion.
  • Reviews, drafts, and negotiates a wide range of commercial agreements including master services agreements, staffing support agreements, technology license/subscription agreements, sub-Business Associate Agreements, amendments and addendums, and non-disclosure agreements.
  • Drive the End-to-end contract management process including contract authoring, red-lining, negotiations and approvals
  • Resolve any existing contract conflicts and ensure that RFP proposals are reflected in final agreements
  • Serve as a liaison between internal and external parties during contract development and negotiation stages
  • Negotiate terms, conditions and if needed to a limited extent commercial terms, and ensure they are accurately executed and satisfied
  • Demonstrate a solid knowledge of contract law, including independent contractor classification qualifications, data privacy and HIPAA regulations as it applies to Huron\xe2\x80\x99s engagement of contingent workers and technologies that process sensitive data.
  • Fosters collaborative working relationships with internal business clients and executives, Procurement, corporate departments, and Huron suppliers.
  • Assist and guide Engagement owners/partners within the business on contract process questions
  • Assists internal business clients and executives in ensuring Huron is compliant with contract provisions.
  • Superb attention to detail and responsiveness in a high-volume, customer-focused, and fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism and outstanding business judgment requiring minimal supervision.
Position Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly to both internal and external customers, at all seniority levels among our internal clients and our suppliers.
  • Highly motivated, strategic, detail-oriented approach with the ability to pro-actively organize a heavy workload and demonstrate excellent analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work quickly and independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Advanced English skills, including excellent business writing skills and an ability to compose grammatically correct, concise, and accurate responses.
  • Strong attention to detail. Interest in accomplishing goals and exceeding expectations.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Exposure to contract lifecycle management
  • Functional knowledge of Procurement
  • Proactive & Persuasive Relationship with Client Partners
  • Undergraduate degree required.
  • A minimum of 1- 5 years of contracting experience. Supplier commercial contracting preferred.
  • Experience reviewing and drafting contracts required.
  • Experience reviewing software/SaaS agreements preferred.
  • Experience with contracts lifecycle management software, such as DocuSign CLM.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat is essential.

  • Ability to do R&D and brainstorm.
  • Fast and accurate data entry skills
  • Experience in financial software package
