Job Description

A Security Supervisor oversees daily security operations, manages a team of guards, enforces protocols, and ensures the safety of people, property, and assets by supervising patrols, handling incidents, training staff, conducting audits, and coordinating with management and law enforcement. Key duties include scheduling, performance evaluation, risk assessment, emergency response, and maintaining security systems (CCTV, access control) to prevent theft, accidents, and threats.
Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate security personnel.

• Operations Management: Oversee daily security tasks, patrols, and access control.

• Policy & Procedure: Implement, maintain, and enforce security policies and emergency protocols.

• Incident Response: Respond to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents, investigating issues and coordinating with police.

• Risk Mitigation: Conduct security audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities.

• Reporting: Maintain detailed records of incidents and provide reports to management.

• Liaison: Act as a link between security staff, management, and external agencies like law enforcement.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience as a security guard/officer.

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to remain observant, resolve conflicts, and handle emergencies.

• Knowledge of security technology (CCTV, alarms).
