Key Responsibilities1. Operations & Production Management
Oversee day-to-day machine operations within the steel plant.
Ensure efficient running of machinery and adherence to production schedules.
Inspect finished products, address quality issues, and coordinate with other departments for smooth workflow.
2. Machine Health & Maintenance
Conduct routine inspections to ensure machines operate at optimal quality standards.
Identify defects or abnormalities and take corrective actions.
Coordinate repair and preventive maintenance activities with maintenance teams.
3. Resource & Planning Management
Create and monitor production plans.
Optimize resource allocation based on operational demands.
Adjust production schedules when required.
4. Team Leadership
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of workers.
Assign tasks, provide on-the-job training, and conduct performance evaluations.
Address employee concerns and ensure a productive work environment.
5. Quality Control
Conduct regular quality inspections and maintain high-quality standards.
Analyze data to identify quality issues and implement corrective measures.
Ensure compliance with industry and company quality guidelines.
6. Performance Tracking & Reporting
Track production metrics and analyze performance data.
Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to management.
