I. JOB DETAILS
Job Title
Supervisor-Engineering

II. JOB PURPOSE
To administer and execute the complete operation and maintenance of hospital building with specific focus on MEP activities in a cost effective manner
III. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Responsibilities

• To ensure timely action on trouble shooting of equipments.
• To ensure that PPM schedules are followed.
• To ensure planned and predictive maintenance systems are in place.
• To control cost within budget for maintenance activities.
• Quality Audit.
• To ensure minimum downtime for all utilities.
• To liaison with regulatory authorities for all utility services.
• To ensure compliance to life and fire safety regulations.
• To ensure adequate spares inventory in the stores.
• To Provide training and guidance to service user areas and vendor staff.
• To have complete orientation of QMS and EMS system of Hospital.
• To have complete Awareness about Disaster Management Programme (DMP) of the hospital.
• To Comply with the service quality Process, environmental & occupational issues & policies of the respective area
• To Comply with patient safety policy

• To ensure safe utilization of equipments and proper waste disposal system

IV. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
Measurable Deliverables

• Timely installation, commissioning and taking over of Building Utilities equipments at hospital project.
• Cost of maintenance - within 4% of capital cost (or as agreed) on an annual basis.
• Maintenance of equipments with minimum down time - 98% up time (or as agreed).
• Cost of utilities within agreed/budgeted costs.

V. JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications

• Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical

Experience

• More than 9 year experience in reputed hospital

• Good knowledge of engineering equipments and biomedical instrumentation with
• knowledge of clinical aspects
