Job Description

Supervise and coordinate activities of machinists, CNC operators, and other shop floor personnel. Plan, schedule, and assign work to meet production goals and deadlines. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Monitor equipment operation and ensure maintenance schedules are followed. Oversee the setup and operation of CNC machines, manual mills, lathes, and other shop equipment. Maintain production quality by enforcing standards and conducting inspections. Train and mentor team members on best practices, machine operation, and safety. Troubleshoot machining and quality issues to minimize downtime. Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and production planning teams. Maintain accurate records of production, downtime, and maintenance. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training preferred. 5+ years of experience in a machine shop environment, including supervisory experience. Strong knowledge of CNC machining, manual machining, and machine shop practices. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T. Familiarity with safety standards such as OSHA.
